Wing Man (Mandy) Fong, Ph.D.

Associate Director of Neuropsychology

Wing Man (Mandy) Fong, Ph.D. is the Associate Director of our Neuropsychology Clinic. She obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, with a concentration in rehabilitation. She completed an internship in adult neuropsychology at the University of Chicago and fellowship training at the Washington University School of Medicine.  Dr. Fong is also trained as a marriage and family therapist. Prior to joining Michigan Avenue Neuropsychologists as the Associate Director of Neuropsychology, Dr. Fong was an Assistant Professor at the Washington University School of Medicine, where she conducted both outpatient and inpatient neuropsychological evaluations of adults and geriatric patients with various neurological, medical and psychiatric disorders. She also served as a consulting neuropsychologist for the St. Louis Blues hockey team from 2017 to 2022. Dr. Fong is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri. She conducts neuropsychological assessment in both English and Cantonese and provides treatment in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. 

Specialty areas of research and practice include neuropsychological assessment of adults and geriatric patients with a variety of neurologic disorders and conditions, including neurodegenerative disease and dementia, stroke, traumatic brain injury (including concussion), brain tumors, multiple sclerosis and hematology/oncology-related conditions; consulting on research grants examining cognitive deficits associated with neurologic disorders and their impact on daily functioning; treating patients and family members adjusting to neurologic injury or diagnosis; the evaluation and cognitive-behavioral treatment of mood and anxiety disorders; and treating relationship issues and emotional and behavioral problems within the context of marriage, couples and family systems.
