Adult Neuropsychologist
Kristen M. Klipfel, Ph.D., obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2018 and completed fellowship training in neuropsychology at NorthShore University HealthSystem. She helps mentor advanced doctoral level trainees at the Isaac Ray Forensic Group in Chicago. Dr. Klipfel lectures to other clinicians and trainees on topics related to neuropsychology, forensic psychology, and forensic neuropsychology. In addition, she has numerous publications related to the practice and salary survey of neuropsychologists, the largest survey in the field to date. She continues to conduct research in this field, as well as in the area of forensic neuropsychology. Dr. Klipfel is licensed in both Illinois and Indiana.
Specialty areas of practice include the psychological and neuropsychological assessment of adults and geriatric patients, including traumatic brain injury, dementia, and other neurologic conditions causing executive dysfunction. She also works with numerous Chicagoland public safety agencies to meet the mental health assessment needs of their personnel.
