Director of Neuropsychology
Diana S. Goldstein, Ph.D., ABPP is the owner of Michigan Avenue Neuropsychologists as well as the Director of its Neuropsychology Clinic. She obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School, and completed fellowship training in neuropsychology at the University of Chicago. She is board certified in clinical neuropsychology and has held academic appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science where she taught ethics, forensic neuropsychology and neuroanatomy, and served as a treatment supervisor in the U of C internship training program. She directs an advanced doctoral level training program in forensic neuropsychology at the Isaac Ray Forensic Group in Chicago. Dr. Goldstein regularly lectures to other clinicians, public safety and risk management agencies seeking guidance on topics related to neurologic disorder, neuropsychological assessment and emotional trauma. Dr. Goldstein is licensed in both Illinois and Indiana.
Specialty areas of research and practice include the neuropsychological assessment of adults and geriatric patients, including traumatic brain injury, ADHD, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia, treating patients and family members adjusting to neurologic injury or diagnosis; the cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety disorders, including post traumatic stress disorder; and meeting the full range of mental health needs of public safety and occupational medicine agencies.
