Welcome to Michigan Avenue Neuropsychologists.
Our core staff includes an accomplished group of clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists, all of whom are from top training programs, have strong academic and teaching backgrounds, extensive research experience, and published contributions to the scientific literature. Along with licensed counselors, our clinic offers a wide range of mental health and neuropsychological services, from conducting cognitive and psychological assessments to providing therapy. A number of our neuropsychologists maintain an individual treatment caseload in addition to conducting diagnostic evaluations, and together their areas of expertise encompass the lifespan, from developmental disorders in children to cognitive changes in older adults.
Just some of our areas of specialization include the assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment of: developmental or acquired neurocognitive disorders; adjustment to neurologic injury or diagnosis, including brain injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke, caregiving for a loved one with dementia; addressing differential diagnosis in mild cognitive impairment and dementia; assessing and treating anxiety, mood and substance use disorders; and coping with learning or attentional disorders affecting scholastic progress, including school liaison.
